Since 1 September 2024, at Carima we have incorporated Erreka’s ceiling hoist business unit, thereby marking the beginning of a new phase in the development of our transfer solutions.

This integration represents far more than a business transaction. It brings together two paths with a shared purpose: to improve the personal autonomy and quality of life of people with reduced mobility through innovation, functional design and applied engineering.

What does this integration mean for our customers?

The partnership with Erreka Grúas allows us to expand our product catalogue, optimise production processes, and continue providing robust, safe and efficient ceiling hoists, now under the Carima brand. We maintain the essence and reliability that characterised Erreka Grúas, now supported by the experience and human-centred approach that defines Carima.

Our clients – whether care homes, hospitals, disability centres or specialised distributors – will be able to access a more comprehensive offering, with technical support, expert advice and an established after-sales service. All of this with a single objective: to create more accessible, safer and more dignified environments.

This acquisition not only preserves the technical knowledge and experience of the Erreka Grúas team, but also incorporates Carima’s 360° approach.
